Journal Business Model
Introduction
All readers and authors of the Government & Resilience benefit from free open access. We believe that open access enhances global accessibility and promotes wider use, serving both the academic and professional communities, as well as the broader public. As no fees are charged for access, the journal offsets publication costs—including peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving—through article processing charges (APCs), which are payable by authors, institutions, or funding bodies upon acceptance of an article for publication.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
All accepted articles are subject to an Article Processing Charges(APCs) to support free access for readers and to cover the costs associated with peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving. The APCs applies to the current calendar year and may be revised at any time at the sole discretion of the publisher. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring payment of the APC and must confirm, at the time of submission, that they will arrange payment should the article be accepted for publication. This responsibility cannot be transferred to a third party unless formally agreed upon by the publisher.
The current APCs for an accepted article is 200.00 USD. We kindly request that authors assess their ability to secure funding for the APC prior to submission, not after acceptance.
Please note: The APCs will only be invoiced after an article is accepted and has no bearing on the peer review process.
Article Submission Charges
The journal does not impose any charges for submitting an article.
Waiver of APCs
Authors from low-income countries: USD 0.00 (APC waived)
Corresponding authors with a Scopus or Web of Science (WoS) h-index of 15 or higher: USD 0.00 (APC waived)
G&R reviewers: Eligible for a discount of USD 50.00 per completed review
